The senior visual effects supervisor Dan Glass of Method Studios will give a world premiere presentation on the feature film “Cloud Atlas”, directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer.
Dan’s brilliant career in visual effects has included supervising work on “Tree of Life”, “Batman Begins”, and the “Matrix” sequels.
Adapted from the homonymous 2004 novel by David Mitchell, with a budget of $100 million,Cloud Atlas is the most expensive independent film of all-time and boasts an exceptional cast, including Hugo Weaving, Jim Broadbent, and the Academy Award’s winners Tom Hanks and Halle Berry.
Cloud Atlas is scheduled to be released in the US on October 26th and will arrive in Italy only on January 13th 2013.
At VIEW Conference Dan Glass, VFX supervisor, will talk about the making of “Cloud Atlas”, with special attention to the enormous amount of visual effects employed in the six episodes of which the film consists and the peculiar solutions adopted for this epic visual narration.
