We are looking for great independent animation, narrative and art, to show in Washington, DC., a media hub of the United States.
We work with established and novice filmmakers by creating strong, popular film and media events that attract people and attention to independent film as a creative engine. After fourteen continuous years, our roots in Washington D.C. run deep. DCIFF, an internationally-recognized, award-winning festival has always had a strong animation component.
Theme(s):
Independent Animation
Additional notes:
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, color, sex, age or disability; nor on the basis of film genre (we do not accept adult films), film length or film format. It is our intention that all submissions be given equal opportunity. All submissions are screened by a committee of four and selection decisions are made based on a mix of quality, originality, wow-factor, smarts, beauty and, where relevant, social value.
